On October 28, 2015, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) had been awarded $8 million through the Biofuels Infrastructure Program (BIP). This $8 million along with $6.11 million in matching funds from the MDA and private partners makes up the fund available for this request for proposals (RFP), which is soliciting project proposals that will be reviewed for consideration in making awards for the purchase and installation of ethanol-compatible infrastructure at fueling stations in the state.

First there was one Minnoco location in Fridley. After an updated look of the green and orange Minnoco image there was a second, a third, then a fourth. With the added advantage of a building a partnership with Growth Energy, Prime the Pump, MN AG, MN Lung, and MN Corn, MSSA members have a great opportunity to take the brand of Minnoco, in which they own, to a new level.
By the spring of 2015, there will be 26 MSSA members re-imaged to Minnoco. Those members have a variety of fuels everything from E15, E30, E85, Diesel, or just unleaded. Few rules, no limits. Whether you are a member of the MSSA selling gas or simply have repair, as long as you are a member of the MSSA, you have ownership in “Minnoco”. For more information on how to become one of many fuel distributors or retailers of Minnoco, please visit www.minnoco.com. or contact the MSSA office.
